A beautifully used book containing 78 works by 50 calligraphers from 12 different countries. Two pages are devoted to each piece: a close-up page on the left and the entire work on the right.

The book also includes the essays “The pleasure of showing and looking at words” by Manfredo Massironi and “Between word and image” by Tiziano Santi, in Italian with English translations, as well as commentary by Thomas Ingmire. Ingmire gives his expert opinion on modern calligraphy and divides the works into 6 different groups. Finally, an article by Monica Dengo presents the latest works of Thomas Ingmire.

The book has a hard cover of 24 x 30 cm, 208 pages in acid-free quality paper with a long lifespan, cover and case, containing an accurate reproduction of all works that participated in the Belle Lettere Award of 1997.

The book only has some signs of wear on the case, otherwise as new
